New food plots

I've been wanting to put a couple of food plots on my ground for 3 years now. This past week everything finally came together. The one is close to 1 acre and the other maybe a 1/4 acre. The smaller one was going to be bigger but it was getting too wet in the direction we were going to expand it. These are in areas adjacent to some bedding areas and the trees in the area were junk trees of no value.
I took soil samples earlier this spring and they both had pH of 5.4. On the bigger plot, I spread 1000 lb of lime this weekend and on the smaller one I spread 250 lb of lime. I had rented a plotmaster to intially work on them and then I planted them both with a soil builder mix. In another month I am going to throw some winter rye on them as well. The soil surprisingly looked pretty good. There is still some small stones and little roots in there, but not many. The excavator operator got most of good soil off roots and I am extremely happy with how they turned out.
Sorry about any sideways pics, have no idea how they got that way.

Looks good!! Sure it didn't take the operator long with that machine to get them cleared off. \Where did you rent a plotmaster from?

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!

Thanks guys. My local feed store close to home had it. It is on my way to camp so I rented from them. I come to find out that the rental company in wellsboro has one for rent which is maybe 30 min from property. Also, the local agway up near camp has one as well that is only 10 minutes from camp so I would probably rent from them next time instead of trailering all the way from home.
I only used the disc on the plotmaster. I have a spin spreader for my atv that I used for the lime and fertilizer. And a bag seeder for spreading the seed.
We have a tractor at camp but not sure I can get it to these plots even with the logging roads going to it.
