Rock problems no more

Have an area on our property that just wouldn’t be able to be planted right because of how rocky it is. Luckily we have some good friends with amazing equipment that can take care of that for us. This machine pulverizes the rock and makes a beautiful bed to plant in

Interesting. How deep does it pulverize? What size rocks will it destroy? Does it create compaction issues afterwards?

I don’t know the official name. We just call it the crusher. We are getting 12-14 inches deep. Will crush/pulverize and rock that it can grab and push against the crush plate. Larger rocks that it can’t grab, you have to float over the top of. Have not had any compaction issues yet. We did put first plots about 5 years ago with the same machine. It does change your soil dynamics a lot. Have to add more lime and fertilizer.
