Spraying clover

Was wondering if anyone could give me general idea of when in spring to spray a second year clover plot for grasses. Plan on using imox with nitro surf mix. Area would be tioga co. I know type of spring would determine but just looking at general idea for planning trip to camp

According to the Imox label, when most weeds are between 4"-6". Any higher, and it will be less effective. You could always mow and wait a few days to spray. The Raptor label is much more informative. (same chemical) Also, it says you can spray twice a season, so plan accordingly.

I would mow a time or 2 and then wait about a week after you spray once everything greens back up. I did it in late May last year and that seemed to work well. I plan on hitting that plot again but may wait a little later this time. Here is the thread that I did last year.

Thanks for the response guys. Couldn't get up to camp last year until mid June and the weeds were pretty high. Looking to get to it a little earlier this year. Thanks again for the info
