introduce myself

Howdy, after many years of browsing this forum I finally joined. I am a rabid habitat improvement guy. 10 yrs. ago my wife and I bought a place in Potter Co.and have been going at it non stop since then. Started with weekends ( the first 3 yrs.almost every weekend, and that is a 4 hr. drive one way) now am retired, more or less, so am ramping up my work,( I mean play) schedule . I'm expanding plots, planting more trees, and anything else that comes to mind. I'm a QDMA, Wild turkey federation, and NRA life member. I have learned an awful lot from this site and hope to add a little bit of knowledge that I have picked up from the many times I did them wrong

Welcome One Horn, pull up a chair and set a while..

Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.

"When a pine needle falls in the forest, the eagle sees it, the deer hears it, and the bear smells it."
an old First Nations saying
