Soybean cover crop

Anyone have experience with broadcasting seed into standing soybean with no soil prep? I'd really like to go through with WI Winter oats. I've had great success with it in the past but with prepping the soil. What kind of germination do you guys think I'll get? Is there a better seed to use broadcasting into standing beans?

I would mix in some rye with oats so you have something in the plot all winter and into spring. I think either will do ok as long as you get it broadcast right before a nice rain and the seed can get to the soil.
