Thanks C. As much as I don’t like the Japanese Stilt grass, it does make decent cover for the bunnies in addition to the briars and honeysuckle.

Thanks. Pretty sure I got the chaps from Conkey’s. They were $25ish I think. They offer some different thigh sizes and inseams for the kids. The kids version of the chaps are not waterproof and don’t have a boot zipper, but they are pretty nice. I think they would shed water for a while.

I have an old pair of Cabela’s 1000 denier chaps - they have served me well over the years chasing pheasants and bunnies, but they don’t shed water when there is a heavy dew. Dan’s offers a pair that are briarproof and waterproof. I am gonna have them on my Christmas list next year.

I checked on the chaps this morning....the total bill was $29.99 so it must have been $7.99 for shipping. Pretty good deal for what the chaps allow Lucas to push through when we are hunting.

Here is a link and screen shot of Conkey's offering of Dan's hunting gear for kids. I guess they are waterproof, they just don't have the zipper on the legs.

Thanks One Horn! The bunnies definitely appreciate the habitat improvements.

The deer (and perhaps other critters as well) have started to take a liking to the radishes and turnips. We had some pretty good sized turnips and radishes grow in the plots this fall. The second pic is a turnip on Dad's F-150 hood (don't be too hard on him for buying a Ford - I thought he had more sense, too). Third pic shows some nibbling on the bulbs - pics are from November 15th.
