Re: Hunting Heritage Banquet

I will probably make a few of those trips myself but will probably behave myself since the wife and I are taking our 6 yr old daughter this year. She's getting a Jake's membership at the banquet. But then again the wife did say she was driving home!!

Honesty is my only excuse.

Re: Hunting Heritage Banquet

I built a pretty darn nice wingbone call for the live auction and my buddy Scott Basehore also donated a box call that he is so well know for. Our JAKES program is doing good stuff and running strong. I also built a slate and a glass call to raffle just for the JAKES program. Hopefully we can meet up on one of those trips to the bar.

Re: Hunting Heritage Banquet

You bet! I hope to get the winning bid on you wingbone call. I missed the one you did for Red Rose last year by a 10 spot! It [censored] to have a small "slush fund". LOL

Re: Hunting Heritage Banquet

Awesome! The 2012 red rose wingbone I couldn't run up any more on my ol'buddy Stan Newcomer. I just want to have one to hunt with and kill a bird or two with and display with my Ron Johnson box calls. I've never played around with a bone call and don't plan on mastering it but getting good enough to kill with. And not to mention it's something most gobblers have never heard a call from. Esp. on the public land I hunt in Huntingdon county.

Honesty is my only excuse.

Re: Hunting Heritage Banquet

It sounds great and it is a pretty one. Your lucky this year, two of my buds that get a little crazy on live auction stuff won't be there Sat. night. Last year my bone call out sold a Lapp box call by 10$ Shocked the snot out of me. Might be some good deals with out my crazy buds, but I think we're right around 185 people which is our biggest banquet yet. That tends to affect the prices too. Ya never know
