Brandywine Thunderin Tom's

The Red Rose Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) which has served the Lancaster and Chester Counties for the past 25 years has elected to re-organize and form a new chapter serving the ever growing Chester County area located in Southeastern, PA.

With the change in demographics in the area and an effort to utilize the talents from the members of the former Laurel Longbeards (Kennett Square, Pa) and members from the Red Rose Chapter. We are pleased to announce the name of this new chapter as, “The Brandywine Thunderin’ Tom’s”. We look forward to continue our support of conservation, the wild turkey and our hunting heritage through the mission and vision of the NWTF’s theme “Save the Habitat and Save the Hunt”. We are excited to be a part of this new venture and hope you will come join us. For more information about our new chapter and an opportunity to volunteer and be an active member, please contact Jay Montgomery at 610-857-3258 or email Jay at [email protected].

Sounds interesting silver spur! I'm very close to the actual red rose. I have been watching a flock since the winter, hoping they expand and survive !

Dave, I would love to see them expand in Chester County, wild ones not the pen raised and released ones.
