I use Rapala filet knives.......

You use this to debone deer? Is it the 4" with the wooden handle? Also, what is the best sharpener out there?

I use fillet knives to debone all our deer. I use a 6" model. I have an electric chef choice and a then just a standard whustof sharpener.

Nothing beats a good fillet knife once you get the hang of deboneing. You need some flex in the knife to do it right.

I use the 6" one with the wooden handle.........get it as sharp as you can, and then set to work.......a felxible knife is the best knife for deboning, and cutting meat.....

It is hard to beat a good oil-stone for sharpening a knife...
