Made some jerky today

I had roughly 4 lbs of ground venison left so I decided to try out my new Nesco food dehydrator and jerky gun. I used the jerky spice packets that came w/ the gun which were labeled as "original Flavor." I've never made jerky in a dehydrator, let alone w/ ground meat. I usually slice down a roast and put it in the smoker. It ended up taking roughly 5 hours. It tastes really good and has a nice texture. Does anyone have any recipes or recommendations on pre mixed jerky spice kits?

I've used the hi mountain kits from Gander, but only ever used a jerky gun once. Were I to try the gun again I would use season salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, accent, a couple dashes of soy and Worcester sauce; cayenne, tobasco, or red pepper if you want a little heat. Flash fry a small piece in a pan to test your seasoning mix, then add till it's where you want it.
