Thinking about getting a remote thermometer for the smoker whats good whats not?

Get a maverick 732 or 733. I have the 732 and it works great.

I also have a maverick and recommend it. Mine is a ET-72 or 73. I don't remember which.

I have the maverick et-733 and like it a lot. I also bought the 6' waterproof probes for the et-735, but they also work on the 733. Don't have to worry about water problems with those probes, and they can be used in food or smoker.

Another vote for the Maverick .I am on my second one as the last one went haywire after 5 years of heavy smoking !
