Lighted reticles

My new scope is supposed to
Be here Thursday. Nikon black x1000 4-16x50 with the lighted MRAD reticle. Wasn’t gonna get the lighted reticle but couldn’t pass up the price. Never had a lighted reticle before. Are they nice to have for night time hunting or doesn’t really make a difference?

I only ever had a lower quality one. It “spilled” extra light around the outer edges and actually limited visibility. Never tried another one.
I never have any issue being able to see my cross hair with my Night Eyes Gun Light.

Your scope is likely better quality than the one I tried. Let us know how you like it.

I've used Luepolds illuminated red dot scope and loved it. I believe an illuminated dot allows you to get on target quicker than illuminated reticle. Let us know how you like it.

I use a illuminated red dot and I love it. Makes it nice for night hunting. All you gotta do is connect the dots on the set of eyes.

You're the same dumb pilgrim that I been hearin' for twenty days, and smellin' for three!
