Sadly, I would not be surprised if an ATF agent said that!

Nor would I. Maybe 20 years ago we had a "new" ATF person in our area that found some un-dotted Is and a few Ts that hadn't been properly crossed and ran an 80 year old local gun shop owner up to Wilkes Barre for a hearing.

The hearing examiner scolded the agent for being a bit over zealous, admonished the ol' boy on his book work habits and sent him home without penalty.

As for small game and hand guns, I've had a Taurus revolver in 22 rim fire for probably 35 years. Six inch barrel, pretty much a S&W K22 clone. Have killed woodchucks, 'coons, porkies, crows and one bunny with it over the years.

Some folks' learnin' curves just look like circles...3A Camp/also hunt 4B
