My son got his first buck Saturday. We passed on a few others because the shot was just not there. This one came by around 2:30 running with two small buck and and a little doe. At first we thought it was a big old doe, then we spotted the spike on his right side. He decided this was the one he wanted. One shot, ran about 50ft and down for the count. discovered this big buck must of been a fighter. One antler broke off about an inch above its head and the other broke off about 6 inches up. Big bodied deer along with a well placed shot is going to make for a lot of meat.
