I wasn't introduced to hunting until a couple of years ago by my father-in-law and I have quickly become addicted. My first year I had a shot at a monster but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. Second year hunting I had a limited hunting season due to family and work and wasn't able to connect on a deer but I had a blast trying. My third year I scored this great buck on opening day of rifle. I had been watching a one antlered 3 point chasing and had a couple of opportunities to shoot but I passed up and then immediately thought "what am I doing?". Well I am glad I did because this buck came cruising in following 3 does and gave me a shot at about 80 yards. A big thank you to my father-in-law for introducing me to the sport, and to Shawn Lamparter for the great taxidermy work! I'll never forget that day.
