4C game lands doe stalk in snow

810 am doe down! Second public land deer for me this year, I am blessed.
Tracked fresh sign through the snow and came upon two does that didn't even know I was there. The smaller one noticed me but only watched. The larger one was facing directly away and its tail flick gave it away. Trees provided cover for me and I waited patiently for a shot. Offhand shot with my scoped Remington 783 in 270 Cal, at 50 yards and she dropped. First time that I used my game cart and it is a life saver for the 1 1/2 mile trip back to the car.
Butchered it at home and put meat into 2 coolers for the night.
