If possible make a forum to post upcoming outdoors related shows across p.a. Everything small firehouse shows to the big shows. It would be cool

nitter, I agree with you. there was one in Indiana,Pa. about a week ago and it wasn't even advertised. would have liked to have gone to it. if there was a place to advertise these shows maybe more people would go to them.

I understand the desire of fellow sportsmen wanting to get the word out. But, these shows are in the business of making money. They should spend some of that on advertising and not expect it for free.

I belong to a small gun club in Lancaster County and we have a gun show in March that not only benefits the club but also helps sponsor Hunting/Trapper Safety Courses and a Children's Fishing Tournament.

Not all Gun Shows have money to advertise everywhere.

And many include volunteer fire departments trying to stay afloat to keep most all HPA'rs safe and alive in case of a tragic event. Unfortunately, the dollar rules!

I think the response was mostly for the commercial / regular/ regularly produced / with websites guns shows. Think the Harrisburg Show / York fair Grounds, and others.

HPA has always supported the local sportsman's clubs and other community activities.

It is what makes us Pennsylvanians, that small town / local connections and civic activity.

The announcements have always gone in the club forum.

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.
