The PM section, however, DUMPED a recent thread I had going (the only one I've had going for months) with information very valuable to me.
Any idea where it went and how to get it back ?

@Lugnut
The forum icon is dark if there are new posts. It's light gray if no new posts. For a quick work around scroll down to the bottom of the list and click "mark all as read" that should make them all light. Any "dark" unread threads within the topic, it will show as new threads from the forum topic page. If you don't want to read all the threads under a specific topic, mark them as read by clicking the "forum tools" and then "mark this forum read".

I dislike everything about the new set up. If it needed to be faster do that. But no need to take some that worked and change it. Sorry to say i probably wount visit as much now as i did before. Its to bright and to hard to navigate. Good luck with your CHANGE. See how well that worked 8 years ago this month.

There is tweaking happening as we speak. The best thing to do is to put your concerns into the community feedback thread. It is being monitored by the development team, and opinions are being actively collected.
The site staff and admins are discussing many of the same issues with them that are being brought up here. Again, post into the feedback thread.
And please be patient while suggestions are being considered, and tweaks made.

@Redq23 - The dark skin will be up by the end of the day...

Don't get me started on him, things will really change for the better soon.

The updated had to be done for mobile viewing, google search, and to keep the site secure.

Big improvement. Works more like the other forums I read. HuntingPA forum has been the odd ball for a while. Going to the first unread post and marking forums "read" are now like other forums.

Subscribing to the topics I want to view makes it quicker to read what I want and then move on to the next site.

New forum software always takes a little while time to tweak at first.

Yes, I'm seeing that now that I clicked "Mark All as Read" an hour ago.

Thanks again!

When viewing users posts I like when I could see posts that the user created or all posts. By being able to look at the topics created by that user it made it easier to find the stories/success they posted.
