Ford Pop Up Blocking Entire Screen

This morning I came into HPA, like I do every morning, except this time the forum flashed up then a Ford add displayed taking over the entire screen. It is not a separate pop-up window that you can close. The only thing I can do is hit the Back button on the browser to get back to the forum. Thing is, every time I click a new forum, new message or anything it comes right back. I need to hit the Back button after every HPA interaction. Anyone else running into this? They may be but have not figured out how to get passed it.

Ad Blocker Plus it is free, it works. Plus you need to clean your computer of any cookies and adware that you installed. It is on your computer not the website. I see absolutely zero pop ups on any site including HPA.

I heard it only happens to Chevy owners

Seriously though, the site admins are trying to keep those type of ads from happening. Advertising is needed but it shouldn't be obnoxious, like the ones that takeover the entire page.

Shoot straight

People are sick of politicians, and me, I hate cats in the house.

Re: Ford Pop Up Blocking Entire Screen

My pages still jump"up" when I open any thread. It opens to the top(original post) then jumps to the last post before I can read the OP. Had originally thought it to be the Ram Truck ads, since that is the only time it did it, but now , it does it any time I open any thread.

I gotta go agitate the techies!

Screen capture what I see. You can see the HPA forum url in the address bar but all you see in the browser is the ad.
