Site issues

Ever since the last house keeping effort I have no use of smilies and none of the icons for such things as new posts, stickies, etc show up. Almost everything mentioned is a red X.

Expired cookies twice, no change. Any ideas?

Re: Site issues

Denny those symptoms sound PC related, what internet system you using? IE, Firefox. chrome, etc..

Anyone else have these issues?

Re: Site issues

Using IE, always have. No problems before the recent site "redo" though.

Den, already expired site cookies twice, no joy. Restarted 'puter, same deal.

No issues on any of the other sites I frequent, including other UBB boards. Right now I see roughly half of the post smiley icons appearing above this page. If I hold the cursor on 'em, can tell what each is, but they will not "post". The rest are red Xs. Not a major issue, just thought others may be in the same fix?

And Chuck's mention to the contrary, I ain't too old to smile, dambit.

Re: Site issues

just to humor me, try and post one of the smileys using code, for example the grinning smiley would be :grintest: without the word test in there. obviously if i wrote it correctly it would look like this instead of showing you the code! let me know if posting them that way works, try grin beammeup and thumbs all with :before and :after

Re: Site issues

Okay, that worked according to the preview feature.

Expired cookies again, restarted 'puter again. Still no change in the red X displays, etc. Since I can read the description text above for each smiley, reckon I'll just type 'em in now?
