Cast bullet forum

It's almost impossible to find a round nose bullet. Casting is looking like an option to more hunters like me.

Re: Cast bullet forum

Casting is an addiction, have been casting since the early 70's.
Took two deer this year with 30/30 cast. Kills were extremely quick for double lung shots. Three hops and DRT.

Re: Cast bullet forum

I see plenty of posts in the Reloading forum regarding casting, look there for help.

Re: Cast bullet forum

Thanks, Adam, I've seen a few of those posts, too, however, I thought it would be more convenient to have them all in one forum. I also thought it would bring more attention to the options we have to make our own bullets. I haven't done any yet, but it was suggested to me last year when I couldn't find any 6.5 bullets except the expensive Lapua. I could kick myself for selling about 25 lbs. of wheel weights two years ago.

Re: Cast bullet forum

It just won't get enough traffic to warrant it's own forum. Reloading barely does itself...
