Todays ad banner for Honda

At the top of the forum pages the Honda ad keeps opening even tho you don't click on it. Just moving the mouse over it to get to the back button or forum list opens it up to half the page. Driving me batty right now having to close it all the time. Yes I have popups disabled and it still does it!

Same here.

A haiku is just like a normal American poem, except it doesnt rhyme and is totally stupid.

Same ad came up a few weeks ago. Pass over it and it would open... drove me nuts then too. Wait til all of them start going to the "no click" ads. That's when I'll probably quit the net.

I was just coming into this thread to post about this issue. Anything to be done for it?

Re: Todays ad banner for Honda

The Honda ad does it and I get a Spanish insurance ad that does the same thing. Get your mouse anywhere near it and the ad then fills the entire page up.

Re: Todays ad banner for Honda

Driving me crazy!! I could not even turn it off one time. had to close HPA then re-open it. The spanish insurance one is the same way.

It has to do with the location. These ads in between the toolbars and the forums are magnets for these rollover ads. Bad location for them. If they were off to the side, much less likely to roll over them.
