I'll jump in and if I offend some folks so be it... I read all of the replies, and wow... So much, of hunting is all about me, my enjoyment and what I get out of my hunt, what I do is my business, don't tell me what I should and shouldn't do, etc, etc. I get all that, believe me, but I'd like to encourage some more thought about our roles as hunters, and that being stewards of a resource. I would like to suggest that maybe we should put out own thoughts, personal goals, agendas aside and think about, and ultimately do, what is best for the deer herd and its effect on the environment. If that means shooting a doe or two, or more if the situation in your area dictates that, then so be it. I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I really don't care.
