How long can you keep a bear hide in the freezer without hurting it?

As long as it's wrApped up good airtight in plastic, double heavyweight garbage bags it will be fine for Some time! I've taken in hides that were inthe freezer for several years with no issues!

Just got a rug back from a taxidermist after 10 years!! There was no hair slippage.
