1/2 vs 3/4 black bear mount???

Is there a difference, or are they all considered half mounts? I've looked at pictures of mounts and of forms in the McKenzie catalogs. Some mounts have more of the bear than others. Some are cut right below the arms. Some are cut at the bottom of the ribs. Are they different? Are they more expensive? Or is it a matter of what the particular form costs?

Re: 1/2 vs 3/4 black bear mount???

I think that most taxidermist would consider any bear mount without the hind legs a 1/2 mount. The forms do vary in price and that may or may not weigh in on the cost of the mount depending on your taxidermist....Thanks

I personally do not charge any different for a 1/2 mount regardless of the mannequin unless someone wants drastic alterations...Thanks
