Cleaning Mounts ?

I have a whitetail deer and a snowshoe hare mounted and wanted to know if anyone would suggest using a can of compressed air to clean them.I've read that you should use a feather duster or fine brush and go with the fur not against it.

Re: Cleaning Mounts ?

someone once told me to use pantyhose or kneehighs?
slip your hand inside of the leg/foot and gently wipe the mount down.

I have no idea if that's recommended or not; perhaps some could confirm or dispel?
