Need Ideas - Bear Shoulder Mount

Shot a bear last Saturday. First bear. 198 pounds at the check station.

Now for the hard part, deciding how to mount it. A full body is out. Thinking a shoulder mount or something like that.

If any have pictures of your mounts or something you liked when you saw it, post them up.

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

Re: Need Ideas - Bear Shoulder Mount

Here's a couple of mine. If it's a matter of room a standing bear doesn't take up much space and the 3/4 wall doesn't either. My next one will be a shoulder mount with rocks. Congrats and post him up when he's done.

Re: Need Ideas - Bear Shoulder Mount

Here's one I did last year. Half mount on a Mckenzie habitat.

I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

Went with something similar to BabyBears 1/2 mount picture.

Great choice BT.

I have one very similar to babybear's as well. You won't be disappointed.
