Re: Road killed fawn

Nothing, I believe. Just call and get a permit number to posses it.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Psst. It's a FAWN

I've been wanting to get a tanned fawns hide to cover my Time-Life Leather-bound "Wild West" series of books. Maybe I'll tap into the Wash. Co. WCO's and see if it can be done. What the heck, they get discarded to the bone pile anyhow right ?

Re: Road killed fawn

I called earlier today. The dispatcher didn't know what the cost would be and said that the responding officer will let me know.

Go with a lifesize mount.

Re: Road killed fawn

I'm sure there will be a charge. The hide was in pretty good shape. Just a couple small nicks. Hated to see it go to waste. Lifesize mount is the plan.

It was in the freezer ten minutes after I picked it up.
