Finished coyote skull

The coyote skull I started on two weeks ago is just about finished. One more day drying in the sun and that should do it. Thanks all for some of the tips and advice along the way. It turned out great, I think.

Did the maceration method. 5 days in water with a enzyme detergent, changed the water then 5 more days. Pressure washed. Soaked in dawn to degrease then dried. Picked up some 40 volume Salon Care peroxide creme at the local Sallys and did two coats.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

I used a stain spot remover. Forget the exact name at the moment but it is labeled as enzyme based for blood, grass, etc... Bought it at Walmart.

Some say that adding a little to the water helps to break down the tissues better. Others say it is not needed.

Who knows. This was my first try and it worked well for me. Worked so well that all the teeth fell out. Was like a jigsaw puzzle getting them all back where they were supposed to be.
