Halloween Scrapper Buck is back home!

This is my archery buck that I just picked up saturday. Its a mckenzie 64U head up. He had a ripped ear, 4 gouge marks in his rear end, and his cape has bumps of scar tissue/ scabs! He was a scrapper! Smallest mass measurement was 3 7/8" I really am happy with the mount!

nice buck and mount congrats

did you get him aged?

he looks to be a older deer with that mass out to the end of his beams.

nice, he looks old. just think of the force it took to break them points off.

An old warrior!! Mount looks great!

Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Thats a great looking buck. he definitly had time to pass his genes on. How much was it to get the age test done?

Re: Halloween Scrapper Buck is back home!

That boy was a fighter with that split ear, but I am not sure it broke that tine off the left main beam. I believe there is a parasite that borrows in antlers when in velvet and it appears like that is what happened. If the tine has a bulbous end, it was not broken.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people asking questions.
