Can anyone help

I am building a Sioux lance to donate to a fnd raising auction for the IWL. I need a small piece of tanned coyote hide about 8x8, 10x10 would be better. I have checked with taxidermist shops in my area and no one has any scraps, My second choice would be grey fox but coyote is traditional. I would be willing to pay for a scrap piece if it is reasonable, I don't want to spend 80 or 90 bucks for a whole hide for a small piece.

Re: Can anyone help

Appreciate it but I need something with soft hair so the seams will be hidden when it is glues around the shaft in 3 inch wide strips.

Re: Can anyone help

It might, I am hoping to get some coyote ar grey fox as a substitute but if not I may have to settle for something else. I am hoping some of the taxidermists that post here may have some scrap for patching laying around.

Re: Can anyone help

It would be great if you can find them and be willing to part with some.
