hanging an Alligator hide

Hi all,
I have an alligator hide that was mounted down in Florida.
The hide is headless, it is rigid has a foam back (looks like a foam carpet pad) and is covered by felt
I am trying to figure out a way to hang it without ripping the hide due to the weight. It does not weigh much but I am afraid that it may rip.
Can anyone give me any ideas.

My guns are not worth your life; but my freedom and liberty are worth mine

Re: hanging an Alligator hide

personally i would have it on a wall i would have it on a big table or case
but you could have it attached to a big piece of wood or other material and hang that on to the wall with some supports.
