Another question about proper care.

Can someone help me with this question? Whitetail deer cape is soaked from rain all day? and put in a cooler over night and then caped out the next morning and giving to the taxidermist.

My question is, Do you think the cape being wet will effect the cape itself? Or water doesnt neccassarily hurt the cape as long as its properly cared for?

Thanks

Re: Another question about proper care.

Should not be a problem , as long as the taxidermist takes care of it properly

Re: Another question about proper care.

Thanks, I was thinking the same, just wondering if anyone had any experience with "wet" capes.
We'll see in the spring time..

Re: Another question about proper care.

I've had plenty of rain and snow soaked capes come through the shop with no problems
