Re: Coyote Skull Display

No pic but I have a client who had a skull done. He then made a small wall panel ( shelf) to put the skull on and then used a hook to hang the tanned hide underneath.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

I just have my skulls on the top of my gun cabinet, furs are hanging on the wall next to it.
It's fun getting a variety of skulls, plus I get to educate my kids on it.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

Here's a coyote skull and fox skull I had done. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of them in my game room.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

Beagler those look great. Did you just use The 40% peroxide on them after you cleaned them? Any tips would be appreciated becasue those look great.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

Yes, those are a lot nicer than mine. I did those myself with store bought Hydrogen Peroxide, after boiling them of course. I think you can also paint them white, which I did not do.
Be interested in hearing how Beagler had them done, it may have been with the taxidermist?

Double yote yours look good I think I used regular peroxide on my first one and it just never turned out real nice and white. The other day I sprayed it since it is probably 4 years old and it actually turned out pretty nice. Used flat white spray paint, but still nothing like the looks of a well done skull.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

Here are some display skulls that I have...

Here is a bear skull on a wall pedestal.
You could do something similar with your coyote and even have the hide tanned and hang it underneath.

Re: Coyote Skull Display

Beagler didn't reply, but his skulls look like they were done by ChasinTail, he is a member here and does skull cleaning with the bugs. I think it's called Frank's Skull Cleaning and after having my professional taxidermist do one and Frank do one, I will NEVER go to anyone else as long as he is still doing it.

IF YOU SEND ME A PM, I WON'T GET IT USUALLY UNLESS I SEND ONE FIRST. REPLY & TELL ME TO PM YOU
