What next?

I did two euro mounts on deer last year and they were my first, mine and one for my brother in law. I simmered them and then applied some 40V peroxide and then sealed them and they turned out great. My cousin got a buck in archery season this year and wanted me to do a euro mount on it so I got started. Simmered it with sal soda, de-greased it for a week in dawn and borax and then applied the 40V peroxide. Trouble is that this time there are yellowish stains around the skull joints between the antlers that won't seem to come off. I can't figure out what to do to get rid of them and I was wondering if anyone could help. Thanks.

Re: What next?

The yellow is grease that is still in the skull. It just needs more time to de-grease. Some of them can be a real pain.
