Whitetail Pedastals

Anyone have any pedastal examples - looking for something unique. It was posted on here a while back but I can't find it. I know someone had a cool one with an old fencepost and barbed wire. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Whitetail Pedastals

yes it is! I wonder if there is a trick to putting weight at the base to make it more stable, etc? Or if the post would need to be wired to a wall stud? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help though

Re: Whitetail Pedastals

no wiring to wall studs. A mounted deer head doesn't weigh much, so the base is just heavier than the head. Both pics are prime examples of what your asking I think. Freestanding, no wires. They do make beautiful mounts if one has the floor space.
