If anyone is interested?

I finally finished my skull mount from 2019 archery season...the buck I took was missing his right beam...still he was a good size deer with a unusual left side...when I walked over to him I expected to see where he broke off his left side, but it looked like it never grew... IDK but once I started to clean I could see what looked like their was a right beam...but the pedicle was so damaged that it grew out the side of his skull just behind his eye socket.

Probably broke his skull around the pedicle in a fight at some point and it shifted then healed over.

That eye doesn’t look normal....wonder if it was blind on that side.

I wondered the same thing...when he ran by me during the hunt a minute or so before the shot... I thought his right eye looked funny...when cleaning the skull l did see a small hole in the back of that eye socket that seemed to go to that dark area...other than that...the eyeball looked normal...it wasn't cloudy or anything.

Nice work!! Great way to capture something that's not encountered every day.
