Maintenance on deer mounts

Searched this subject, but to my surprise I was not able to turn up any post. Does any one maintain their deer, elk, turkey and bear mounts other than just dusting them off over the years.

I would welcome any proven methods and applications.

Thanks

A hair dryer on cold does a good jib of dusting. Ypu need to dust the eyes with a soft cloth because the eyes are what makes mounts life like.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Using windex and a Q-tip on the eyes and will try the hair dryer.

A taxidermist told me a few years ago after surface dusting, to wipe the fur and antlers with Pledge sprayed on a cloth (don't spray the mount). Been using it since on deer and a bear mount. Seems to work well.
