With the spring turkey season coming, I'm seeking a good taxidermist for turkeys......Here in NJ, they are to ---- expensive. Looking within 1.5 hours of Easton. PA or Milford, PA

All taxidermists are expensive, if it was easy and cheap, everyone would be doing it. Seriously, the cheap ones if you find one will probably disappoint you. Go to different taxidermists and look at their work, then choose the one you think is best. Who wants an almost good mount.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

What WW said. With a few exceptions, you usually get what you pay for. For turkeys, I'll recommend Outback Imagery in York Springs, PA. It's probably on the outer edges of your specified distance, but every turkey mount that I've seen come out of his shop is as good as they get.

when I said good it was just a word......My taxidermist for deer and bears is great, but for turkeys they are very expensive, like for a strutting gobbler price is over $1000

Try Randy Kuntz. He's a sponsor here on this forum. Good turnaround time and very reasonable prices. A bit of a drive near York Springs in Gardener Pa.
