Soft tan bear hide?

Going for spring bear in a couple of weeks. Already have two rugs and two full body mounts and don't have room for another mount, so if I get another bear I'd just like to get it soft tanned. I had the mounts done in Maine but would rather get the soft tan done locally.

Question is will any taxidermist send a hide out to be tanned for me even though I'm not having a mount done?

You don't need a taxidermist to send it, you can send/take it yourself.
I take mine to Sivko's.

Thanks, but if I choose to go through a taxidermist, the question remains.
