European mount/staining antlers

It probably been discussed on here numerous times so I'm sorry.

I have a few skulls from bucks that have been laying around for a couple years now and they are kind of sun bleached.

My question is how to stain the antlers to bring the color back? Do you just use regular wood stain or is there a taxidermy product to use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take them to a Taxidermist, they will be able to do them for you.

Re: European mount/staining antlers

I had one of the really small can. I guess I may have put 1/4 in with the walnut. Didn't measure, just tried it. That small can I have will probably last for years....
