My 2010 Buck is Home

We had the mount done by Eckenrode's Taxidermy in Ashville, PA. He did an absolutely amazing job and I could not be happier! We also had a lamp made out of the legs and the remainder of the hide tanned. My Dad has these items in the one photo.

amazing buck and nice pose. . . the memories will last forever. That buck sure does have character.

X2 on what FlyGuy said....also like the base on the lamp, nice touch! Do you have the story of the hunt posted somewhere?

Hey FowlArcher...here is the link to original thread. I had it posted under General Hunting.

Thanks, had to make it extra special to share the hunt with your dad and brother. My most memorable hunt so far was being with my son when he shot his first buck.

Hey if I get one mounted in the near future, I'd like to talk to you about lighting. That's the neatest effect I've seen on a mount with the shadow of horns like they are. Did you do that on purpose or is that just how it shadowed?? a very nice memory you have hanging there! Keystonepaul
