Displaying sheds

Is there a way to display a matched set of shed antlers as if there were still attached to the skull?

You can't bag a big one if your not out tryin

Re: Displaying sheds

These are the sheds from the buck in my avatar. They were attached to an artificial skull.

Re: Displaying sheds

Unfortunately at the time that was the biggest skull that was available. I wanted something different and it worked for me. If I had the money at the time I would have had him get me a cape and do a full shoulder mount with the sheds as well.

Re: Displaying sheds

I didn't do it myself. My friend, who is the taxidermist that mounted my buck also did this for me. I'm not sure what it costs because he didn't charge me for it.

I think you can buy all the materials that you'll need from any of the taxidermy supply catalogs.

Re: Displaying sheds

Your shed pics look awesome.
Have you ever seen that metal artificial skull?
I think its called Ironbuck. That looks cool to. Different, but cool.

Re: Displaying sheds

Please do.
I have seen the Ironbuck skull for sale, but never seen it with sheds attached.
