can you replicate elk sheds?

Recently I was lucky enough to find 4 elk sheds this year. This brought my lifetime total to a whopping 6 and that's putting in days and days of hunting for them for at least 10 years now. I dont go down to Benizette to look for them there. I watch a small herd of 6 to 10 bulls about 30 miles from the main herd and when they lose their antlers I start looking. But I'm not alone, as several others scour the same areas as I do. The Elk will be there one day and the next day they're a mile away. This month my Niece got married down in Florida so my wife and I decided to send her one as A gift. Then when I went to work my buddy to me I could have sent her A replica. Is this true and how much would something like that cost?

Re: can you replicate elk sheds?

I think the bucks on the wall at Cabelas are all replicas and look great .A gift of the original is extra special , though. Nice finds . Could not tell you a cost. Your gift will certainly be the most unique and personal !

Enjoy each day afield as if it were your last.....take the time to take it all in !
