Coyote Mounts......

Could you guys post some of your coyote mounts? I'm trying to figure out how to have my coyote mounted. I was originally interested in having her howling; since, I never had a coyote howl as much as this one did before I shot. The problem is I shot her facing me. I put the crosshairs between the eyes and lowered a little. I hit her basically under the chin and there was a 3" cut. It was a clean cut - looked like you took a knife and make a cut. It will be able to be fixed, but you'll still see a difference. At least I will.

Anyhow - I was wanting to see as many options as possible.

Thanks and I appreciate it!

Ken

Re: Coyote Mounts......

I've never been a big fan of lifesize coyote mounts for some reason but I LOVE to do pedestal mounts of them. Here is one I did a few years ago that has become very popular with my clients. BTW....your bullet crease will hide just fine if its repaired properly.

Re: Coyote Mounts......

Paul that is really, really nice. Ken you'd be amazed at how nice ( a shoulder mount of a yote is. I can't post pics, but I love my shoulder mounted yote- just beautiful. Just remember to get the eyes to look like Paul's a lot of guys can do, but a lot of guys can also get them to look crosseyed/unatural as well and give you back your mount like it's beautiful, but you'll know it isn't and so will everyone else. Do your homework with your taxidermist. Good luck Keystonepaul

This is the only pic i could find already uploaded to our computer, it is from way back in 03, but it shows a lifesize pose.
