Fox Mount Suggestions.

Getting a fox mounted that I trapped this year. I am looking for some pictures of different mounts of red fox that people have so I may get an idea of what I would like to get done. Thanks

Re: Fox Mount Suggestions.

I have one at the taxidermist rite now from last season that I trapped. I am getting it mounted with the trap on its foot sorta in a laying position but with one leg extended where it looks like it is laying there with a trap on its foot.

Here is a pic of my last one. This pic does not even do it justice. It looks as real as can be.

C Carr - That fox is by far the nicest fox I've ever seen mounted. You definitely got a good one there!

+1 very nice!

As Charles Barkley says, "I may be wrong, but I doubt it".

Re: Fox Mount Suggestions.

Okay, gotta use your imagination here as I found this pose on Google and gave me the idea. (poor quality photo)

What I am getting made now by my taxidermist this year:

Red Fox from this past trapping season.
He will have the same body pose, head turned left, looking back.
Left foot will be lifted up too.
Replacing the Grouse and putting a Red Squirrel in his mouth.
The rock ledge will be similar in shape and size but minus all the busy weeds.
A more realistic rock is being made with more moss laying on it.

Got several more months to wait.
