Outback Imagery?

Anybody have any experience with Outback Imagery in York Springs?

I was at the Sports Show in Harrisburg yesterday and saw that he won numerous awards for his turkey, which I thought was awesome!

I'm heading down to Florida in March, and should I be successful in the final leg of the Grand Slam I want to get a quality mount done.

Just looking for some feedback if anyone has had any experience with him. Thanks!

Re: Outback Imagery?

I have had a couple of ducks done there that turned out fantastic. I recommended a friend take a prairie chicken there and that was phenomenal.

I actually started going there because of a recommendation on this site.

Re: Outback Imagery?

I personally have not taken anything there, but I have 1 Wood Duck and 1 Canada Goose in the freezer right now that I plan on taking to him once the wife gets back to work.

My wife's friend son takes all his animals there. Here's had numerous things done, including a Mt Lion, and has been pleased with everything so far.

From what I've heard I think you'd be pleased with going with him.

Good luck!

Re: Outback Imagery?

not trying to put down outback imagery, but why not try another local guy (plus he is a hpa sponsor) in randy Kuntz. He has a very good price on everything and he does AWESOME work (returned deer mount in just 6 weeks).

Re: Outback Imagery?

Who cares about time? If it's quality you want then go to Outback Imagery. Rod is the nicest guy you will ever meet. He has been doing my mounts for at least ten years now and I get tons of comments on how nice his work is.

Re: Outback Imagery?

Thanks guys.

I am specifically looking for someone that "specializes" in turkeys. I appreciate the comments, and I'm sure that there are a few guys that do really good work. I'll be contacting more than one, just wanted to narrow my search.

Thanks again all.

Not sure about him but John at http://www.silverwingstaxidermy.com did a bunch of work for me and it looks great. He's in new Cumberland.
