Best Deer Taxidermist?

I finally shot one worthy of the shoulder mount and don't have a clue of where to take him. Where should I take/send it? Whats the rough cost? Include pics/links

acmetaxidermy.com Dave Dillon

He is a member here and search in the taxidermy forum to plenty of examples of his work. Aproximately $400. 6 month turn around time. His shop is about 3 miles from the turn pike next to the seven springs exit. I can post several pics of work he has done for me tomorrow when I get to work.

Mark Nagy is a world class taxidermist at Nature's Pathway in Monessen. Just go visit his showroom and look through his photo albums... The best!

Bernie's Taxidermy in McKees Rocks
412-787-1171

He's done 4 deer for me and probably a couple dozen for my family in total. They have all been great looking and I have no complaints at all.

Now where have we seen this before??

Re: Best Deer Taxidermist?

Thomas taxidermy in Robinson gets my vote. I had deer done at Bernies, Thomas,Lifelike and Walts. Walt has since passed away. Thomas does the best work far none. Lifelike in Franklin does the worst far none. Hope this helps. I had friends get there done 4 other places with the same results. The game commission even goes to Thomas with the Big roadkills.
