"Painting" Euro Mounts?

Just wondering what the pros do to "finish" a euro mount. I have heard many say that they will just leave it the way it is after they whiten it. Some say that they spray Killz primer on it. Others say they spray an acrylic sealer on it.

Just wondering what the most effective and professional looking way of doing it is. Pics would be appreciated. Thanks!
