Re: red fox mount

With any fox, cat or coyote be carefull who you take it to. look at what they have in the shop and any photos they have. a well taxied fox will run about 400 bucks.

Re: red fox mount

i may be picky or i may have an off eye but for some reason a lot of fox mounts look "fake" to me. in looking for a taxi mount i want the fox to look as if it was standing right there in my living room. for some reason i see only a few of these that i like. thats why im curious on what a lot of you guys charge or have been charged. foxtrapperwoman: i really like that mount. the fox looks as if it is really standing on that wood pile looking at a bird or something. thats what im looking for. seems likke you say it's gonna be a bit over 400 how about a -pedestal mount of a fox? in the past iv only seen about 3 that i think looked "real" im sure someone on here has a pedestal fox mount that they are proud of: show em off. if you dont mind what you paid for as well/or/in the ballpark of.

thanks for the responses guys

not only those items but with anything that you have done, you should see a few samples of different taxis work and compare quality....and i charge $400+ depending on how crazy people get with the mount and base they want

Re: red fox mount

not a red, but here is an example of what I have been saying for years. You don't HAVE TO pay a lot to get quality work, you just need to find the guy/gal who is not looking to get rich, but just wants to make a living. This mount cost me $285 and was returned to me about a year ago. I did have to wait 2 years to get it back, but with low prices and this quality, you can see why. Don't buy into the price=quality game, ask for pics and lots of them, then decide from there. Best of luck
